The instructions are basically the same as those for CONFIGURE 2.0; consult your GEOS 2.0 User's Manual. The major difference is the "RAM 1581" driver; it works the same as the RAM 1541/ RAM 1571 drivers.
Well folks, here is the long-awaitedversion of CONFIGURE, that supports expanded REU's (up to 2 Megs) expanded as described in the "beyond512k.sda" file by "Recursion" (Andrew Mileski).
This version of CONFIGURE includes a new RAM 1581 driver that requires a REU of 1 Meg or greater. Place it on your Boot disk to replace the old CONFIGURE. (Make a backup copy of your Boot disk first, just in case.) Look for a Shadowed 1581 driver in the future.
Thanks to Matt Loveless, and Angie McKenna of BSW for their immense help, to Andrew Mileski for the 2 Meg REU concept, and to Raymond Day (RaymondD2) for his help implementing this.
